OUR HISTORYLinda Stein has been an active member of the property management industry since 1988, when she began managing a large apartment building in the City of Montreal. Seymour Steinman provides an invaluable legal perspective to the company's activities, having practiced law as a business and real estate lawyer with an important Montreal law firm for a number of years.
In 2005, Meridian expanded its services to include condo management, when the company was asked to take over the management of Westmount Park Towers (formerly Pom Bakeries), a luxury condominium building of 82 units located in Westmount, Quebec.
In January 2008 Meridian was asked to assume the management of The Beardmore , a luxury condominium at 1415 Pine Avenue West in Montreal. This condominium is housed on the site of the former Cuban Consulate.
OUR NETWORK
As a result of our experience in building management, we have developed excellent relations with numerous suppliers and contractors, thus enabling us to negotiate excellent service and pricing opportunities on behalf of our customers. We also have extensive experience in construction matters, having been involved in two major renovation and upgrade projects.
OUR STAFF Meridian has an accounting support staff and personnel in place to help in the staffing of individual properties. Meridian’s staff also provides all of the secretarial requirements for the efficient management of properties including:
- Notices to the co-owners
- Correspondence with third-parties
- Preparation of minutes for the Directors’ meetings
- Reports of site management meetings with contractors
